Real Sociedad have announced that Isak, the Swedish striker, has extended his contract at the club until 2029.

The news comes as a relief for fans who were concerned about the player's future after he was linked to other clubs in Europe.

The 25-year-old joined Real Sociedad from Malmo in January 2017 and has made over 100 appearances for the club so far.

He scored 48 goals in all competitions during his first season at the club and has continued to impress this season, helping the team reach the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey.
